Dermot O'Grady, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Dermot O'Grady will be leading xkoto in all financial operations and will be instrumental in managing the growth of the company. Dermot brings more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience working with a range of businesses from start-up entities to publicly traded companies. He joins xkoto from Convoq, Inc. a venture-backed software startup that developed enterprise software application products to enhance real-time communication and collaboration where, as CFO, he was instrumental in securing $23 million in venture capital from top-tier firms.
Prior to joining Convoq and until 2001, he was CFO of Insightful Corporation, a publicly traded international software company. Insightful develops, markets, and supports advanced analytical software and services. From 1991 to 1999, Dermot held senior financial positions in both the healthcare and high tech industries. Prior to joining Insightful Corporation, was Chief Financial Officer of InLight, Inc, a venture-backed interactive multimedia software company. From 1987 to 1991, he was a Certified Public Accountant with the firm now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Dermot received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Suffolk University, earning Cum Laude honors.
